19 Jul Sensitive Teeth is more common
If while you eat cold, hot, sweet, or sour things and you feel a short, shap stab you could have dentin hypersensitivity, commonly known as tooth sensitivity.
What causes your tooth sensitivity?
- “Acidic” foods or drinks will cause your tooth sensitivity,
- If you brush your teeth too hard or grind your teeth, you can gradually remove the enamel and as a result, the part of the tooth called dentin becomes exposed.
- Gum recession can be a leading factor to dentin exposure and tooth sensitivity.
